More than 160 speakers from the Kingdom and abroad will take part in the "Security and History Dialogue 2026" conference, which opens in Riyadh tomorrow under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. Organized by the Ministry of Interior, it carries the theme "Our History and Our Future: Security and Growth."
The conference, running through September 8, is a national platform for dialogue and intellectual and historical exchange. It will review Saudi Arabia's path in security and growth and examine its experience and transformations through the lenses of security, politics, the economy, society, culture, national identity, awareness, international relations and institution building.
Its program includes more than 65 dialogue sessions and interactive meetings, with more than 30 entities taking part, and organizers expect over 5,000 visitors.
Topics include the Kingdom's history and the roots of its security; the personality of Founding King Abdulaziz; citizenship, identity and national heritage; the Kingdom's role in security and peace; the future of security capabilities and international partnerships; artificial intelligence and future security; and the role of women, families, citizens, media and security sectors in fostering awareness and stability. Local and international experiences and perspectives on the Kingdom's history and transformations will also be presented.
