The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has taken statutory action against 12 recruitment offices for violating the rules on recruitment and labour services, SPA reported. Five offices were suspended immediately, and seven had their licences revoked for failing to correct violations within the set deadline.
The action followed the ministry's monitoring of recruitment offices and companies during the second quarter of 2026. The violations included breaches of the rules for practising recruitment and providing labour services, delays in refunding amounts owed to clients, and failure to deal with beneficiaries' complaints.
The ministry said it will continue to monitor the performance of recruitment offices and companies regularly and apply penalties to violators. It urged beneficiaries to use trusted services through Musaned, the approved national platform for recruitment services, which allows electronic contracting with accredited providers and offers tools to rate services and file and track complaints.
Violations can be reported on the unified number 920002866 or through the Musaned app on smartphones.
For families who hire domestic workers through recruitment offices, the ministry's advice is to deal only with accredited providers and to use the platform to follow up on any refund or complaint.
