Between matches, many visitors to the 27th Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 27) headed for the Jeddah Corniche and ROSHN Waterfront to relax by the Red Sea and see some of the city's best-known landmarks.

Guests from across the Gulf strolled the seaside promenade and used its open seating and dedicated walking, jogging and cycling paths, while sandy beaches and green spaces gave families and individuals places to rest throughout the day.

Stretching more than 4.5 kilometers along the coast, the waterfront is one of Jeddah's main leisure destinations, with seven entertainment zones, services and facilities, children's areas and venues for sport and recreation. It can hold more than 120,000 people at once.

It also holds a Guinness World Records title for the longest pavement painting, a 16,000-square-meter work created by Saudi artists and volunteers in a joint initiative of ROSHN Group, the Volunteering and Community Partnership Program “Lenobadir” and the Social Responsibility Association in Jeddah.

Tournament visitors praised its modern feel and mix of entertainment, sport and scenery, and its Red Sea views and art installations have made it a popular place for photos.
