His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region, has ordered the formation of a committee of the relevant authorities to establish the circumstances and causes of the collapse of a temporary water tank in Jeddah Governorate, the Makkah Region Principality said.

The committee will check whether the applicable safety requirements were met and make sure that neighbouring buildings and facilities are safe. It will then submit its findings and recommendations so that the necessary action can be taken in line with the regulations and instructions in force.
