The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has urged Yemeni nationals covered by the status-correction initiative to complete their procedures quickly, before the deadline, so they can benefit from the facilities on offer, spokesman Lt. Col. Nasser Al-Otaibi told Okaz.

He said the initiative runs for 60 days at 23 sites in the regional passport departments. Some categories of beneficiaries can complete the process online, depending on their individual circumstances.

Those without a Yemeni passport or travel document must go in person to a correction site. There they are received and directed, then referred to representatives of the Yemeni embassy, who check the documents they hold.
