Fifty Saudi companies have joined the Export Business Accelerator launched by the Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM), a programme the bank describes as the first of its kind in export business development. It runs from October 18 to December 17, 2026.

Participants receive expert mentoring, training and networking opportunities, learn about the routes into international markets and are prepared to make use of the bank's financing and insurance products.

The programme follows a step-by-step track: an assessment of each company's export readiness, the drafting of a workable export plan, one-to-one advisory sessions and, finally, introductions to supporting organisations that can help them enter new markets and handle the commercial and operational demands involved.

Saudi EXIM CEO Saad Alkhalb said the accelerator extends the bank's role of supporting local firms throughout their export journey. He said the bank hopes it will enlarge the pool of export-ready companies and link them with business opportunities, partners and credit solutions, helping Saudi non-oil exports grow and reach more markets.

The bank, which operates under the supervision of the National Development Fund, provides export financing, guarantees and credit insurance to close funding gaps and reduce export risk, supporting economic diversification under Saudi Vision 2030.
