Entrepreneurs with ideas for manufacturing ventures are being coached through a new Industrial Ideas Development Program, launched by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources together with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University. Its goal is to turn promising ideas into value-added industrial projects in priority sectors.

Hosted by the university for two weeks, the programme takes participants step by step from pinpointing an industrial problem or opportunity and studying the market and target customers to an initial feasibility check and a product concept.

The programme started on 19 October and includes visits to industrial plants. Specialists from the Saudi Industrial Development Fund Academy are also helping participants refine their ideas and projects.

The ministry said the initiative supports the growth, sustainability and competitiveness of the Kingdom's industrial sector in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
