The King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) picked up two Best Paper Awards at the 25th WPC Energy Congress hosted by Riyadh, Saudi Gazette reported. The honours recognised its work on global energy issues such as the energy transition and clean cooking options for Africa.
KAPSARC took part as a National Partner in the congress, which ran October 11–15 with the theme “Pathways to an Energy Future for All.”
It was the first time the Kingdom has hosted the international gathering since it was first held in London in 1933.
