The Ministry of Commerce has reminded owners of commercial establishments that their business bank accounts are their own responsibility, and that they are required to monitor all transactions on these accounts and keep track of every financial transfer made through them.

The ministry explained that doing so strengthens compliance with regulations and protects owners from being held legally accountable for any violations or crimes that may be committed through their business accounts.
