Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh donated blood today during a drive held at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, joined by ministry officials and staff. The drive supports the 2026 annual national blood donation campaign launched by His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The minister praised the Crown Prince's own blood donation as a fine example of generosity that reflects the leadership's concern for people's health and safety. He also commended the Kingdom's efforts to support Muslims and help disaster victims and people in need around the world.

He urged people to take an active part in blood donation campaigns because of their humanitarian value for patients and the injured, describing blood donation as a form of benevolence and of cooperation in righteousness encouraged by Islamic law, in line with its aim of preserving human life.
