The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued an alert for the Hail region, warning of very strong winds that could bring horizontal visibility close to zero, along with hail, flash floods and lightning strikes.

The center said the alert covers open areas and highways, and that the conditions are expected to continue until 8 p.m.
