Preparations for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 are moving ahead, the tournament's Local Organizing Committee has said, with the continental championship set to run from January 7 to February 5, 2027.

The committee said it is working in constant coordination with the Asian Football Confederation and other relevant bodies, and that organizational and operational work is advancing in line with the approved schedule. This covers the readiness of venues, facilities and related services, with the aim of offering a complete experience for participating national teams, supporters and media from across Asia.

Reaffirming its commitment, the committee said it will keep working and dedicate the resources required to make the event a success and stage a tournament worthy of Saudi Arabia's standing, while taking into account developments related to the competition so that the right conditions for its success are in place.
