Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders must enter the details of a newly issued passport on the OCI portal within 3 months of its issue, the Embassy of India in Riyadh said in a public notice dated October 15, 2026. Those who update after that period are liable to a late fee of SAR105.

The embassy added that, following recent changes to OCI policy, cardholders face no restriction on travel to or from India between the date their new passport is issued and the final acknowledgement of their documents in the online system.
