The number of active commercial registrations for artificial intelligence technologies in Saudi Arabia reached 24,693 at the close of the third quarter of 2026, a 31 percent annual increase, Saudi Gazette reported, citing the Ministry of Commerce.

That is 5,847 more than the 18,846 registered a year earlier. In the ministry's ranking of the five leading regions, Riyadh came first with 15,138 registrations, with Makkah in second place.
