Al-Hilal made it two wins from two in the 2026-2027 AFC Champions League Elite, beating hosts Al-Sadd of Qatar 2-0 today at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha in the second round of West Region matches.

English forward Ollie Watkins put the Saudi side ahead in the 40th minute, and Portuguese midfielder Rúben Neves doubled the lead with a penalty in the 65th minute.

The result lifts Al-Hilal to 6 points, level at the top of the West Region with the UAE's Al-Ain and Iran's Esteghlal, though Al-Ain stay first on goal difference. Al-Sadd have yet to collect a point.
