Israeli occupation forces advanced on Sunday evening into the town of Hamidiyah and the Mazraat al-Hanout area in the countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, where they raided and searched homes and deployed among residential neighbourhoods.

According to local sources, an occupation unit of 4 vehicles stormed houses in Hamidiyah in the central Quneitra countryside, while another military force entered the western neighbourhood of Mazraat al-Hanout in the southern countryside, spread out among the houses and fired into the air before withdrawing, as drones flew over the area.

Earlier on Sunday morning, an occupation force had entered the Yarmouk Basin area and the towns of Jamla and Abidin in the Daraa countryside, while another moved towards the village of Saida al-Hanout in the Quneitra countryside.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 disengagement agreement through repeated incursions and raids in southern Syria. Syria reiterates its call on the international community to act to stop these violations and to compel the occupation to withdraw fully from its territory.
