The Kings League MENA starts its first full league season in Riyadh today, with 10 teams representing fan communities across the Arab world competing at the Cool Arena in Boulevard City until October 30.

The field has grown from eight teams at the inaugural Kings Cup MENA in 2025 to 10 from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Morocco, Egypt and Jordan. Saudi Arabia is represented by defending regional champions "DR7" and newcomers "RA2 FC" and "Rising Peaks"; Qatar by "ABO FC"; Kuwait by "FWZ"; Egypt by "Turbo"; Morocco by "Ultra Chmicha" and "Bakhira FC"; and Jordan by "3BS" and "Red Zone."

Managing Director Wael Al-Fayez said the league combines real sporting competition with digital culture and content creators, suited to how people now consume sport, while keeping intense football on the pitch.

The opening round features Ultra Chmicha against Turbo, Rising Peaks against ABO FC, a Jordanian derby between 3BS and Red Zone, and RA2 FC against Bakhira FC, ending with a rematch of the 2025 Kings Cup MENA final between DR7 and FWZ.

In a single round-robin over nine rounds, each team plays the others once. The leader goes straight to the semi-finals, and the other three places are decided by quarter-final playoffs (second v seventh, third v sixth, fourth v fifth). Both semi-finals and the final take place on October 30 at the Cool Arena.
