Al-Baha Region is attracting more visitors this summer thanks to its forests, parks and mountain scenery, which are at their liveliest after sunset. Its cool climate and natural beauty have made evening outings a hallmark of the region's summer appeal for visitors from inside the Kingdom and abroad.
With mild evening temperatures, many tourists plan their outdoor activities for after dark, filling walkways, public parks, forests and attractions. Cafés and restaurants with open-air seating are especially busy, offering cool mountain breezes, sweeping views and drifting fog.
This growth in night-time tourism has lifted economic activity across the region, benefiting shops, cafés, restaurants, families in the cottage industry and sellers of farm produce and traditional crafts. Visitor numbers usually peak in the evening, when many of the cultural, recreational and entertainment events of the Al-Baha Summer Season take place.
The evening trade is not limited to parks and forests: heritage villages and traditional markets also draw large crowds looking for authentic cultural experiences, local products, traditional food and handmade goods, linking Al-Baha's heritage with its natural landscapes.
