The Second International Pediatric Science Conference opened in Riyadh on Thursday, organized by the Ministry of Interior's General Department of Medical Services, represented by Security Forces Hospital, together with the Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society.

Through September 12, scientific sessions and training workshops are reviewing the latest science and medical practice across pediatric specialties, including neurology, infectious diseases and immunology, gastroenterology, nutrition and child health, and neonatal care. Leading experts, consultants and scientific figures in pediatrics are taking part.

For the first time at a pediatric conference, a workshop combines clinical cases with their matching medical images and radiology findings. It aims to tie clinical assessment more closely to radiological examination, encourage the best use of medical imaging and cut medically unnecessary radiology tests, improving the quality and efficiency of children's healthcare.

The conference is being attended by Dr. Saleh Al-Mohsen, General Supervisor of the General Department of Medical Services and Security Forces Hospital.
