The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and Russia's TASS news agency signed a draft memorandum of understanding on Monday during a meeting of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies.

The memorandum seeks to deepen cooperation between the two agencies and develop ways of exchanging news and information, in the interest of both sides and to strengthen the media presence of their countries.

Saudi Ambassador to the Russian Federation Sami Al-Sadhan attended the signing.
