The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) is seeking investors to develop and operate the Integrated Logistics Zone in Al-Khumrah, Jeddah, a site covering a total of 2.4 million square metres.

The authority has opened expressions of interest to developers, operators, freight companies, shipping lines and logistics firms. Interested parties can register through the dedicated online platform, alkhomra.mawani.gov.sa, until November 20, 2026.

Located on the Kingdom's west coast, the zone offers smooth access to markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. It benefits from a direct logistics corridor with Jeddah Islamic Port and its advanced infrastructure, as well as from Jeddah's role as a major commercial hub.

The zone is linked to seven main ports on the west coast, the nearest being Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdullah Port, and to King Abdulaziz International Airport. It also lies close to the Land Bridge project, the rail link connecting the east and west of the Kingdom, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Mawani President Eng. Sulaiman bin Khalid Al-Mazroua said the offering is part of efforts to expand areas that support logistics operations and to establish the Kingdom as a global logistics hub linking three continents. He said the authority hopes to attract experienced partners to develop the zone, which will become a key pillar for global trade and re-export operations and will raise the competitiveness of Saudi ports.
