The league phase of Split 1 of the Kings League MENA is down to its final two matchdays, on 16 and 23 October, and all three Saudi sides, DR7, RA2 and Rising Peaks, remain in the title race. The competition opened in Riyadh on 18 September as the league's first full season, with 10 teams from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Egypt.
Founded by Spain's Gerard Piqué, the seven-a-side tournament has teams led by prominent digital content creators. Seven matchdays have so far produced 35 matches and 338 goals.
Defending champions DR7 sit second with five wins and two defeats, one win behind Kuwaiti leaders FWZ. After losing their first two games, they reeled off five straight victories, the latest an 8-4 win over Morocco's Ultra Chmicha. Saudi futsal international Abdullah Al-Aqeeli has scored eight goals and twice been named player of the match.
RA2 also bounced back from a one-win, four-loss start: they ended Ultra Chmicha's perfect run with a 7-6 win, then beat Rising Peaks 8-3 in the Saudi derby to climb to fifth with three wins and four defeats.
Rising Peaks are eighth on the same record, level with the teams in fourth to seventh but outside the quarter-final places on goal difference. Their player Abdullah Al-Maghribi has nine goals and leads the tournament with 42 shots.
On 16 October DR7 meet Rising Peaks in another Saudi derby, while RA2 face 3BS. The league-phase winner goes straight to the semi-finals, and the teams placed second to seventh play the quarter-finals on 26 October.
