A convoy of nine relief trucks sent by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) reached the Khormaksar district of Yemen's Aden Governorate yesterday, loaded with 3,240 food baskets.

The baskets will be handed out to the households in greatest need, under the emergency response project that the centre is running in the Republic of Yemen.

The shipment is the latest in a continuing stream of Saudi relief work in Yemen. Through KSrelief, its humanitarian arm, the Kingdom seeks to strengthen food security and cover the basic needs of families who have been affected or displaced.
