The Jeddah Season Chess Championship 2026 ended yesterday in Historic Jeddah after two weeks of hard-fought play involving more than 400 players from around the world.

Egyptian players took first and third places, with a Georgian player finishing second.

Organizers said the event’s ability to attract an international field reinforces Historic Jeddah’s standing as a leading venue for high-quality sporting and cultural events.
