Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb, who chairs the TOURISE Forum Board, announced on Wednesday that the second edition of the forum, "TOURISE 2027," will take place in Riyadh from March 23 to 25, 2027, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with the theme "Alliances That Move the World."

The forum gathers leaders from tourism, technology, investment, sustainability, culture and transport worldwide to discuss the sectors' main opportunities and challenges and help shape global tourism's next phase. Its first edition last year helped catalyze $113 billion in investments across destinations, hotels, retail, talent development and AI-powered platforms.

As host, the Kingdom offers an example of tourism as an integrated economic ecosystem: it passed its initial goal of 100 million visitors a year in 2023, seven years early, and has raised the target to 150 million a year by 2030. This year's theme stresses alliances across sectors and borders that link tourism with capital, technology and infrastructure to unlock investment, speed innovation and ease travel.

"No single destination, company or organization will shape the future of tourism. Rather, it will be determined by the strength of the alliances we build together," Al-Khateeb said, adding: "Through the second edition of the TOURISE Forum, we are inviting the world to Riyadh to build the alliances that will shape the next 50 years of the tourism sector."

The Ministry of Tourism has named the first group of speakers, drawn from tourism, hospitality, technology and destination development. Those interested can apply for an invitation and follow updates on speakers and partnerships at www.TOURISE.com.
