Saudi Arabia's nuclear science team is competing on home ground at the third International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO 2026) in Jeddah, held from August 2 to 9 with teams from 19 countries contesting the international event for talented students in nuclear science and technology.

The team arrives with a solid record from its two earlier appearances, during which it collected five international medals: one silver and four bronze.

Those results point to the progress of Saudi students in nuclear science and the effectiveness of the Kingdom's programmes for identifying, developing and preparing scientific talent for international competition.
