The second Global CSR Forum opens in Riyadh tomorrow, Monday, October 5, 2026, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development on October 5–6 at the Sofitel Riyadh Hotel and Convention Center under the theme “From Commitment to Impact,” it is expected to attract more than 3,000 participants and over 100 speakers in more than 40 panel discussions.
Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi said hosting the second edition reflects the leadership’s firm commitment to advancing social responsibility and its developmental role. He noted that Saudi Vision 2030 has made the private sector a partner in development and set stronger corporate commitment to social responsibility as a national goal, increasing development impact and contributions to society.
Al-Rajhi pointed to the Kingdom’s marked progress in social responsibility practices in recent years, supported by national initiatives such as the creation of the National Committee for Social Responsibility, the naming of March 23 as Social Responsibility Day, and the launch of the National Social Responsibility Platform and the Social Responsibility Award. He underlined the need to move from commitment to impact, draw on global best practices and deepen national and international partnerships.
Senior government officials, business leaders, regulators, investors, experts and specialists from Saudi Arabia and abroad will discuss major global trends in social responsibility, share experience and build collaboration between the public, private and non-profit sectors.
The program is organized around three platforms: the Global CSR Forum Plenary Session, the Corporate Social Responsibility Impact Platform and the Corporate Social Responsibility Standards Platform. They will examine global experiences, shared challenges and best practices under six themes: strategy and integration; climate, nature and just transition; workforce, talent management and social impact; responsible innovation; digital transformation and CSR; and governance, trust and standards.
The forum will also host the Corporate Social Responsibility Award ceremony, honoring companies in the Kingdom that have turned their commitments into proven, measurable results, with emphasis on impact measurement and effective institutional practice in the private sector. The event builds on the Kingdom’s efforts to widen the development impact of social responsibility in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and strengthens its standing as a global platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange and partnerships in the field.
