The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is taking part as a national partner in the fourth Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit (RGMBS 2026), held from September 14 to 16 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The summit is organized by the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, represented by the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), in partnership with the Ministry of Investment and SDAIA. It gathers leading international scientists, healthcare leaders and investors to examine progress across the life sciences.
SDAIA will show how data infrastructure and AI can accelerate biotechnology research, drug discovery and precision medicine. Its scientific program includes an opening address on biotech data ecosystems by Alrebdi bin Fahad Alrebdi, Director of the National Data Management Office, and a workshop on governing national biotechnology data.
The authority is also launching the Biotech Data Regulatory Sandbox initiative with KAIMRC and signing a supplementary memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of National Guard.
Its pavilion will present national technical enablers, data governance frameworks and core Tawakkalna app services that support the National Biotechnology Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
