The Madinah Region Development Authority presented its main initiatives and programmes supporting localisation of jobs during its participation in the first Employment Forum and Career Exhibition organised by Taibah University, with the participation of a number of government and private entities, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The authority highlighted its efforts to expand employment opportunities and empower national talent by offering training and qualification programmes that raise the readiness of job seekers and equip them with the skills and knowledge that match the changing requirements of the labour market.

It also showcased training and development opportunities it delivers in partnership with a number of relevant bodies, in support of human capital development goals.

According to the authority, these programmes aim to raise the professional competence of national staff and strengthen their participation in various development sectors.

Such forums bring job seekers, universities and employers together in one place, and give residents of the Madinah region a clearer view of the training routes available to them.
