Tharwa National Park in Al-Qura Governorate has cemented its place among Al-Baha Region's top attractions, drawing visitors during Al-Baha Summer 2026 with its natural features, location and recreational and service facilities.
Developed and maintained by Al-Qura Municipality, the park lies about 31 kilometers north of Al-Baha city and covers more than 128,000 square meters, including over 19,000 square meters of green space and around 850 trees.
Facilities include an open-air theater seating 600 people, a children's theater for more than 150, 30 children's play facilities, 30 visitor seating areas and 12 service facilities designed to fit the natural setting. There are also 17 shade structures, four restroom blocks for men and women, full lighting, sports facilities and dedicated children's areas.
Work is continuing on an elevated road with panoramic views, more shaded areas and seating, and a new road offering a direct view of Wadi Al-Baida Dam, all intended to add to the park's appeal and its standing as one of Al-Qura's leading tourist parks.
Helped by mild weather, mountain scenery and events for all ages, the park continues to attract more citizens and residents each summer, contributing to tourism across Al-Baha Region.
