Sela, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has signed a cooperation agreement with Tahaluf to stage the first Red Sea Yacht Show at the Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina from October 14 to 17, 2027, with the backing of Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of the National Events Calendar Committee for Jeddah.
The deal was signed at the Monaco Yacht Show in front of superyacht owners, private wealth advisers, shipyard executives, brokers and naval architects, underlining the Kingdom's commitment to hosting top international events and raising Jeddah's profile as a luxury destination.
The first such show in the Kingdom is expected to attract around 50 yachts, 150 exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors. New and pre-owned superyachts, support vessels and day cruisers worth over $3 billion will be on display, with an estimated economic impact of up to $500 million from sales, charters and luxury tourism.
Sela and Tahaluf will run and promote the event worldwide, drawing on Sela's experience with major events and Tahaluf's exhibition platform, supported by Informa and BOAT International, to link Monaco's established market with the Red Sea as Mediterranean fleets move to winter routes.
Besides marina displays, visitors can expect watch and jewelry exhibitions, fine dining, luxury cars, golf and diving. The show will also highlight more than $22.4 billion of ongoing Red Sea coastal investment, expanding marine infrastructure and a longer winter cruising season.
