Committee chairman Yasser Al-Misehal said: "We are proud of what the Kingdom presented at Khaleeji 27, an edition that embodied the true spirit of the Gulf Cup: competition on the pitch, and brotherhood and affection that bring us together off it." He thanked Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation, for his support, as well as the participating teams, federations and Gulf fans, adding: "We were delighted to host our brothers in Jeddah."
