The Saudi Space Agency and the Ministry of Education have launched a national campaign to spread awareness of space science ahead of World Space Week, aiming to widen access to reliable educational content and involve all parts of society in interactive experiences that build scientific literacy and interest in space, science and technology.

The ministry is running awareness and educational programmes in schools, presenting scientific concepts interactively and giving students more chances to discover an interest in the field.

The campaign also includes activities with several Saudi universities, online science sessions and interactive events with nonprofit organisations in the space sector, reaching students, young people and the wider public.

On the digital side, the agency has released an updated Knowledge Space Portal with educational games, interactive pages, a space encyclopedia, downloadable and printable booklets, presentations, videos and resources for schools, universities and community events.

An awareness booth at King Abdullah Financial District offers visitors hands-on space activities, part of efforts to meet the public where they gather.
