Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfig Al-Rabiah today opened the fourth edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum before officials, Umrah company representatives, service providers and industry partners.
Al-Rabiah said the forum reflects the care given to serving pilgrims by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The event is held every year under the patronage of Madinah Region Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.
Over its earlier editions, he said, the forum has become a global meeting point for Umrah companies, service providers and partners from inside and outside the Kingdom, encouraging partnerships and solutions that improve the experience of Umrah performers and visitors.
Registrations rose by more than 157% between 2024 and 2026, the minister noted, and the last edition brought together 138 companies and saw over 5,000 agreements signed.
This year's edition aims to attract more than 200 companies, growth of almost 45%, with wider local and international participation, and to turn opportunities into tangible benefits for pilgrims.
