The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) has added a new occupational hazards page to its open data platform, coinciding with World Statistics Day, observed on 20 October each year. The page makes data and indicators on occupational hazards available for studies, research and specialised analysis.
Occupational hazards are one of the branches of the social insurance system, covering benefits linked to work injuries and occupational hazards under the law. Researchers and other interested users can now access the related data and indicators directly.
The platform offers an interactive dashboard for viewing, filtering, analysing, downloading and sharing data, with indicators shown in visual formats, and a library of more than 60 datasets available for download and reuse, updated periodically. It also includes a smart assistant powered by generative AI that answers questions based on the available data and produces charts interactively.
The platform is aimed at government bodies, decision-makers, researchers, academics, the private sector, the media and the public. GOSI invited users to visit the open data platform through its website.
