Khaled Al-Essai won the Senior class in the second round of the Saudi Toyota Championship Karting 2026 at the Jeddah Corniche karting circuit, where 25 drivers competed across Senior, Junior and Mini categories in closely fought races. Jana Najeeman finished second and Mohammed Al-Eid third.
In the Junior class, Abdulmalik Al-Fassi took first place ahead of Abdulrahman Khazindar and Sulaiman Sulaimani. Wael Kilani won the Mini class, with Oday Baraa Hakim second and Zaid Fang third.
The series is owned by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, run by Bakhashab Motorsport and supported by official partner Jameel Motorsport. Under its qualifying system, the best eight drivers in each class from every round go through to the final on November 20, where they will contest the podium places.
Round three is scheduled for October 31 at the Mahara karting circuit in Dammam, and the venue of the closing round will be decided by a draw. Marshals monitored the races around the track, managed drivers on the circuit, enforced safety rules and stood ready for emergencies.
The championship is part of efforts to grow motorsport participation in the Kingdom by offering regular competition for different age groups, giving promising talents experience and a structured path to develop their driving skills.
