Two officers forming the aircrew of a Ministry of National Guard reconnaissance helicopter were martyred when the aircraft went down inside Saudi territory in Najran Region because of a technical fault.

The crash of the AH-6i helicopter was announced by Major General Turki Al-Malki, official spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen.

Al-Malki prayed that Allah grant the two officers His vast mercy and accept them among the righteous martyrs, and that He give their families and loved ones patience and solace, adding: “To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”
