The National Falcons Center has wrapped up the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, which welcomed more than 764,000 visitors over ten days at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh. Held under the slogan “A Destination for All”, the event brought together more than 1,446 exhibitors and brands from 47 countries, as well as 44 government entities.

Spread over 200,000 square metres, the exhibition combined falconry and hunting with heritage, travel, adventure and cultural learning, attracting falconers, enthusiasts, investors, local and international companies and the general public. Zones included “Future Falconer”, the “Shalayel” museum, a world of taxidermy, sea fishing, hiking, safari, a traditional market, horse and camel riding, four-wheel driving, a falcon-hunting experience and ranges for archery and air, live and virtual weapons, alongside folklore and military shows, crafts, talks on history, poetry and heritage, and specialised workshops.

The Mulwah falcon race ran for six days with 12 rounds over 200 metres for six categories of young falcons, and total prizes of 723,000 riyals went to the top five in each round. At the Mongolian falcon auction, held at the exhibition for the second year, a “Hur Farkh” falcon sold for 1.4 million riyals, the highest price in the auction’s history, while total sales exceeded 7 million riyals.

A hunting weapons, ammunition and accessories zone, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, displayed more than 5,000 products from over 181 international brands. This year’s edition also celebrated the historic At-Turaif District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as part of an annual initiative that previously featured Al-Ahsa Oasis in 2024 and the Hima Cultural Area in Najran in 2025.

The National Falcons Center has now begun early preparations for the 2027 edition. Its auction continues to accept locally trapped falcons until November 30, while falconers from the Kingdom and abroad head to the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, running from November 17 to 30 with its Mulwah and Mazayin competitions.
