Several governorates of Makkah Region are expected to see moderate to heavy rain from today, Saturday, until next Wednesday, October 14, 2026, according to a forecast by the National Center for Meteorology.

The rain is set to affect the holy city of Makkah as well as the governorates of Al-Kamil, Al-Jumum, Bahrah, Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Al-Lith and Al-Qunfudhah.

Civil Defense called on residents and visitors to take precautions, keep away from valleys and flood channels, and follow its instructions and safety guidance for as long as the rain lasts.
