The Saudi Alzheimer's Disease Association has been honoured with an excellence award in the annual innovation category from World Ageing Asia for its Mzwalah initiative, presented at the 14th World Ageing Asia Festival in Singapore.

The award shows international recognition of Saudi initiatives in health and social care and of the association's work to improve services and quality of life for people living with Alzheimer's disease.

The association said the honour builds on its strategic plans and continuous institutional efforts to develop its services, and that it will motivate it to keep innovating in support of people with Alzheimer's and older adults.
