Aseer Municipality plans to plant 800,000 seasonal roses along roads, in squares and in public areas this winter as part of continuing work to green and beautify the region's cities and governorates.

It also aims to plant 600,000 trees under the "Planting Two Million Trees" initiative, adding green space, supporting environmental sustainability and improving quality of life.

The broader program covers expanding afforestation and beautification, rehabilitating parks and public spaces, and improving maintenance and field monitoring. Several neighborhood parks are being rehabilitated, with upgraded facilities and better-performing green areas so residents and visitors can make more use of public spaces and enjoy better services.

The municipality is tracking the projects through field monitoring to spot and address issues, raise implementation efficiency and keep the work high in quality and sustainable.
