The second Global CSR Forum closed in Riyadh on Tuesday evening after two days that drew more than 3,000 attendees and over 100 speakers from around the world to more than 40 specialised sessions and dialogues. Ministers, chief executives, experts and decision-makers from Saudi Arabia and abroad took part, along with investors, academics and civil society representatives.

Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi said the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reflect the Kingdom's commitment to social responsibility, innovation and dialogue and its ambition to lead in the field under Saudi Vision 2030. He said the forum had produced fruitful partnerships and new opportunities for cooperation toward a sustainable society.

Closing the event, the minister called on participants to keep up the dialogue and joint work to build a future based on sustainable practices and greater social impact.

The agenda was organised around six pillars: strategy and integration; climate, nature and just transition; workforce, talent management and social impact; responsible innovation; digital transformation and CSR; and governance, trust and standards. Sessions also reviewed international experience in turning commitments into measurable results.

On the sidelines, the Corporate Social Responsibility Award honoured companies that have converted their commitments into tangible, measurable impact, encouraging effective institutional practice and a culture of measuring results. The forum is part of the Kingdom's efforts to embed social responsibility in line with Vision 2030 and reflects its growing role in international dialogue in this area.
