Jouf University has registered a patent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for an invention in artificial intelligence and biometric verification, titled “Method for performing cross-hand palmprint recognition”, adding to its presence in global innovation.

The university said the patent reflects the quality of its researchers and its role in producing high-quality knowledge and technological solutions with international reach.

It added that the achievement is in line with national priorities and the Kingdom's initiatives in technology and AI.
