Startups with ideas for improving pilgrims' journeys can develop and trial them through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's Creativity and Entrepreneurship Program, which links their solutions to the needs of service providers.

The program helps startups test innovative products, assess the feasibility of their projects and their potential use during the Hajj and Umrah seasons, and build cooperation with service providers and other entities inside and outside the ecosystem, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.

It targets innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, service providers and other organizations through two tracks. The Development and Innovation track tests initiatives and products and develops solutions to challenges in the Hajj and Umrah services ecosystem, turning them into practical products.

The Startup track identifies entrepreneurial solutions, connects startups with service providers and creates partnership and investment opportunities to help businesses grow.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship and practical solutions, and said it will keep strengthening cooperation with service providers and relevant entities to improve services and enrich pilgrims' experience.
