Al-Jouf Region's wide range of date production is on show at the Date Festival in Sakaka, which pairs local farming know-how with hands-on rural tourism.

Drawing on the region's fertile land and suitable climate, local growers are offering high-quality harvests of several popular date varieties. Participating farms are also opening their gates so visitors can see date palm cultivation, olive groves and seasonal crops up close.

A broad selection of fresh dates and related farm products is available, priced according to variety, grade and quantity. Besides acting as a direct marketplace, the festival continues to promote agritourism and create economic opportunities for farming communities throughout Al-Jouf.
