The University of Hail has moved up in the Nature Index 2026, ranking 24th among research institutions in Saudi Arabia.

By field, it came second nationally in physical sciences, third in social sciences, third in natural sciences and eighth in chemistry.

The result reflects the university’s work to back scientific research, motivate researchers and expand research partnerships, supporting the Kingdom’s goals for developing its research and innovation ecosystem.
