The Saudi Media Forum plans to widen its international reach at its 2027 edition in Riyadh, bringing major global media organizations and platforms together to discuss the industry and the changes sweeping through it.
Forum Chairman Mohammed Al-Harthi said the aim is to attract more than 300 speakers and around 250 media organizations from around the world. Growing participation, he said, highlights the forum's role in linking media institutions, developing talent and furthering cooperation in digital transformation and content creation.
International participants include France tv, the British publishers The Telegraph and The Sunday Times, Germany's dpa news agency and the UK's ITV News. Asia will be represented by Hong Kong's South China Morning Post, along with specialist platforms such as digital sports outlet GiveMeSport and Middle East business news service AGBI.
The mix of participants points to the forum's growing global presence and offers a venue for sharing expertise, exploring joint media projects and examining the technological changes transforming media worldwide.
