The Autism Virtual Clinic, run by the Society of Autism Families, won international recognition at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS 2026) in Geneva, Switzerland, where it was shortlisted for the global public vote in the e-health category.

The recognition reflects the clinic's work in providing specialized digital care to people with autism spectrum disorder and their families through an integrated platform offering remote therapy and consultations.

The initiative has widened access to specialized care and made services more efficient, and it illustrates the Kingdom's progress in using digital solutions with real social impact to improve healthcare and quality of life.
