The internal medicine pathway across the facilities of the Riyadh Third Health Cluster received 82,092 patients during the first half of 2026, according to SPA, a figure the cluster said reflects efficient performance and the continued development of health services.
The pathway provides services through a number of specialties, including chest diseases, sleep medicine, haematology and rheumatology, as well as gastroenterology and hepatology, nephrology, and endocrinology and diabetes clinics, within an integrated system of care.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Faris, head of the internal medicine pathway at the cluster, said the figures reflect the integration between medical staff and modern equipment and the commitment to providing specialised care in line with best practices. He said this helps improve the quality of health services, reduce waiting times and raise patient satisfaction.
The cluster said the work is part of its efforts to develop specialised services and expand access to comprehensive healthcare, in support of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the quality of life of the community.
For residents in Riyadh living with chronic conditions such as diabetes or kidney disease, the pathway groups these specialist clinics within one network of care.
