Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel today switched on a digital link between Seha Virtual Hospital and Uzbekistan's Ministry of Health at the headquarters of UZINFOCOM Single Integrator in Tashkent, after touring the city's Digital Health Center during his visit to Uzbekistan.

The step strengthens the strategic partnership between the two countries and supports cooperation and investment in high-quality healthcare.

The link marks a major advance in connecting the two countries' digital health systems. It opens direct channels that let doctors work across borders to save lives and provide immediate care, including consultations, diagnosis and treatment around the clock, regardless of distance. It also allows medical staff to draw on the expertise of Saudi doctors and share knowledge, helping develop services in both countries.

The initiative builds on the Kingdom's internationally recognised record in healthcare transformation, digital health and virtual medicine, and reinforces its role as a global partner in health cooperation, knowledge transfer and investment, in support of Saudi Vision 2030's aim of a prosperous economy and a global destination for healthcare investment.
